- Assessing speech, language, fluency, voice or swallowing against age expectations

- A BASLP degree, followed by an MASLP for specialisation, with Rehabilitation Council of India registration, which employers and practices check. AIISH Mysuru and the regional institutes are the main training centres, and the clinical hours in the course are where the practice is learned.
