Common questions
- Which stream has the most career options after Class 12?
- Science with Mathematics reaches the most careers in our database, but breadth is only an advantage if the options are ones you want. Commerce and Arts each reach over a hundred, and several of the highest-earning routes in the country start from Commerce.
- Can I take a course that is not related to my Class 12 stream?
- Frequently, yes. Law, design, management, mass communication, hotel management, liberal arts, BCA and social work are open from any stream at all. What is genuinely gated is engineering and architecture, which need Class 12 Mathematics, and the medical routes, which need Biology.
- Do I have to decide right after Class 12?
- The degree choice is more reversible than it feels. Many careers accept graduates of any discipline, professional qualifications can be started alongside a degree, and postgraduate conversion routes exist in most fields. Choosing badly is expensive; choosing late usually is not.
