What this assessment can and cannot tell you
A psychometric assessment is a good instrument for narrowing a decision, and a bad one for making it on your behalf. We would rather say so here than imply otherwise.
Scope of the instrument
This is a career-guidance instrument. It is not a clinical or diagnostic tool. It does not measure intelligence, IQ, or a person’s worth. Its results are one input among several, and are intended to be interpreted with a trained counsellor.
No result here is a verdict
Your report ranks directions and shows the arithmetic behind each one. It does not tell you what to become. A career worth wanting stays on your list even when the numbers make it a stretch — the report names the gap and attaches a route to closing it, rather than deleting the option. An instrument that quietly removes ambitions is doing harm it cannot see.
It does not measure intelligence, or worth
The reasoning sections measure specific reasoning skills, under time pressure, on a particular day. They are not an IQ test, not a measure of ability in general, and say nothing whatever about a person’s worth. Scores move with practice, sleep, language familiarity and confidence.
Figures labelled indicative are estimates
Salary bands and course fees are labelled wherever they appear with how well they have been checked. Where a figure is marked indicative it is an editorial estimate that has not been reconciled against a named published dataset. Do not make a financial commitment on the strength of one.
If you need support rather than guidance
This is not a mental-health service and it cannot help in a crisis. If you are struggling, Tele-MANAS is on 14416. Free, confidential, available in many Indian languages, open at any hour.
