School systems, and where the assessment fits
- CBC senior-school pathways
- The stream ranking reads onto the three CBC pathways, grouping science and technology, social sciences and commerce, and arts.
- IGCSE and A-level schools
- Students choosing IGCSE options or A-level subjects can use the ranking and career matches to test their combination.
- KCSE, for classes still in 8-4-4
- The last 8-4-4 classes sit KCSE, and KUCCPS turns those grades into cluster points for each degree. The career matches tell a Form 3 or Form 4 student which cluster subjects to protect.
Studying in Kenya, or elsewhere
- Government-sponsored university and college places in Kenya are allocated through KUCCPS.
- Private universities in Nairobi offer an alternative, alongside study in the UK, Canada or India.
- Kenya Medical Training College and the national polytechnics offer diploma routes into health and technical work.

- Kenyan nationals and OCI cardholders can apply to NITs and centrally funded institutes through DASA with a JEE Main score.
- ICCR scholarships and the Study in India portal list places for Kenyan students at Indian universities.
- Check the NTA bulletin for the nearest exam city early; NEET-UG’s overseas centres have not included Kenya in recent years.
- Indian universities accept KCSE, IGCSE and A-level results when a Kenyan student applies as a foreign national.

You do not need to be planning on an Indian college to use this. The assessment looks at you, not at a syllabus or a country: what interests you, how you work, how you reason, and which careers and fields of study fit that. It is open to students of any nationality, and they use it to choose subjects and a direction for study in Kenya or anywhere else.
A student in Kenya gets a profile and career matches that apply at home or abroad. The colleges, entrance exams and salary figures attached are Indian, relevant to the India option and not to Kenyan universities.
Prices when paying from Kenya
Report prices are in rupees. A Kenyan Visa or Mastercard enabled for international online use pays them, with conversion from shillings by your bank, or family in India can pay by UPI.

- No. It ranks five Indian streams. The page explains how they correspond to CBC pathways and IGCSE subject choices.
- Can my child take it at home in Mombasa?

- We hold OCI cards. Does that change how our daughter applies to Indian colleges?
- It can. OCI cardholders are treated differently from Indian citizens for some seats and quotas, and the rules have changed more than once. Read the current DASA brochure and the counselling notice for her course before relying on any one route.
