- Handling guest complaints that have escalated past the duty manager
- Managing department heads across rooms, food and beverage, housekeeping and sales

- A BHM from an IHM or a private hotel school, entered through NCHMCT JEE for the institutes. Management trainee programmes with hotel chains are the main entry, and they rotate you through every department for a reason. Progression runs through department management to executive assistant manager and then general manager.

Who may not enjoy being a Hotel Manager?
