Before we begin

This assessment is for class 11 and 12. It takes about 50 minutes, and you can stop and come back — your answers save as you go.

What we collect and what we do with it

What Psychometric Test collects, and why. To produce a career-guidance report we collect: the candidate’s name, email address, date of birth, and where relevant their class, school and city; their answers to the assessment; and the scores computed from those answers. We do not collect caste, religion, disability or health information, and we never will. Gender is optional, is never used to group scores, and plays no part in any calculation. What we do with it. We compute scores, produce reports for the candidate, their parent or guardian, and their counsellor, and store the raw answers so that scores can be recalculated correctly when our reference sample grows. What we never do. We do not sell this data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not run behavioural tracking or advertising on the account of anybody under 18. How long we keep it. Three years by default, unless the candidate’s school has agreed a different period. The candidate or their guardian can export everything we hold, or ask us to delete all of it, at any time, from within the product. What this is not. This is a career-guidance instrument. It is not a clinical or diagnostic tool. It does not measure intelligence, IQ, or a person’s worth. Its results are one input among several, and are intended to be interpreted with a trained counsellor. Consent for a candidate under 18. Indian data protection law requires a parent or guardian to consent before a child’s data is processed. The assessment cannot begin until that consent is recorded, and it can be withdrawn at any time.

Your details

We use this only to work out whether a parent or guardian needs to consent. It is never used to group or adjust scores.
